My place in this world has changed many times over the years. Growing up, my place was in my room. It’s where I’d go when I wanted to be alone or to do my homework or where I was sent when I was in trouble! After the birth of my daughter, my place was by her side providing constant care and an abundance of love until I realized she needed her own place too, which was – at times – without me. These days, my place in this world seems to be outdoors! I especially enjoy time by the creek on a sunny day when I can see the reflection of sky on water. Right now, my place is appropriately here–somewhere between heaven and earth!
Weekly Photo Challenge: Place in the World
Such a nice reflection. Funny isn’t it? That we strive so hard to find our “place in the world”, and yet it changes all the time.

Thanks David! It does, indeed! I’m lucky that I can truthfully say my one constant place in this world is by Ron’s side, but I have no photo-challenge-worthy pictures to depict that!

What a lovely reflection on your place in the world and what absolutely captivating pictures (as ever) 😊
As an aside, I have been absent for several weeks whilst I effected a rather major move. Now that I am settled it is a pleasure to be able to dip back into the blog-pool and over time I will catch up with all I have missed. And of course, write some of my own too, thought that may be construed as a threat rather than a delight 😉

Welcome back… I’ve missed you! I was sure you were off delving into some wonderful adventure – but moving? That’s hard work! I’m glad you are settled and back on track. I’m sure I’ll not be the only one delighted (not threatened) to read all about it! Thanks for the update.

Thank you and thank you …. moving is horribly stressful – I’m quite a dab hand at it but this time was particularly emotional. It’s nice to be missed and I look forward to sharing the stroll with you now that I am more settled.
