Hard to believe it was more than eight years ago that I decided to share my thoughts – right or wrong, good or bad – with anyone willing to read them. I like to write things my grandchildren can someday learn from and enjoy. Something they might read and say, “Yep, that sounds like Grammy” or better yet “I love how Grammy writes”!

I enjoy writing poetry, so I will share some of it here. I can also ramble on in essay-form about a particular topic, so I will share that as well. I will include photography in my posts because a picture helps tell a story when words alone cannot. I am sure to throw in a post or two about travel because… well, because I love to travel! The hospice patients and assisted living residents I volunteer for often move me, so a few of their stories will surely make their way here. Whatever I post will certainly not be profound, but simply my words, my photos, my way!
