It’s not this time of year without something sparkly and pretty on the dining room table! My mother loved to decorate the house for the holidays. The older she got, the less she decorated, but there was ALWAYS a holiday appropriate centerpiece on the table. The tradition lives on – plus a little mistletoe and holly, just like the old days.

I bought the gold poinsettia floral stems a few years ago at a local craft store after Christmas. I arranged them in a brass container and have added filler to it each year since. I think I am finally done “tweaking” it. I’m glad you like it!
