Warm Springs Ranch, an impressive 300 acre state-of-the-art breeding facility for beautiful Budweiser Clydesdales, is located amid lush, rolling hills in the heart of central Missouri. It is home to more than 70 Clydesdale horses ranging from foals to stallions.
In order to join the World-Famous Budweiser hitch team, a Clydesdale must grow to meet certain requirements. They must stand at least 18 hands high (or 6 feet tall). They must be geldings and at least 4 years old.
They must have a bay coat, four white stockings, a blaze of white on the face, a black mane and black tail… and they must weigh between 1,800 and 2,300 pounds. Talk about growth!

PS – Tours are available by reservation only, and include a photo op with one of the horses and a nice cold glass of beer!
Perfect post for this week’s challenge: Growth! Would love to see these horses up close as you did. Thanks for sharing!

Clydes are so beautiful. My grandfather had a team of 6, each 15 hands high I’m told. Wished I’d had an opportunity to see them first hand.
