And So It Begins

It still looks much like summer,

but there are subtle hints that Autumn is beginning to forge ahead.

Soon, there will be no leaves in silhouette against the sun,

or etched across the horizon in a blue, but cloudy sky.

Over the next 30 days, color will be magically and beautifully transformed.

Autumn is my favorite! Always has been, always will be.

  5. Your photos are so vivid; the difference between a practiced photographer and someone like me just clicking away with his iPhone. As for autumn (so much nicer-sounding than “fall”), it really does sneak up on us. I happened to glance at the ground below a few of our deciduous trees the other day and wondered, “Where did all those leaves come from?”
