My husband and I recently returned from a road trip to visit family we don’t often see. It’s usually a quick trip there and back, but with no pressing demands on our time, we were in no hurry to get back home. We turned the trip into an opportunity to appreciate the simple beauty of rural America. This is one of my favorite photos from the many stops we made along the way. There is an abundance of textures here – perfect for Cee’s challenge this week.
Lovely photo.

Thanks! I kept asking my husband to pull over so I could take a picture – there were so many lovely sights!

Great photo, telling a story, father’s car was here, mother picked apples, children were playing around, time goes by and then it is fall.
