I came across this Great Blue Heron on my walk the other day. He didn’t seem bothered by me at all. He posed politely while I snapped his picture, although he never cracked a smile! Such a serious bird!

Wonderful! We have one who visits the wood pile every now and then and has even been spotted on the roof peak at night. Wildlife wonders–beautiful photos!
