Fall Takes Over

IMG_4916-EDIT

I love Fall! For me, it comes too late and leaves too soon. But it’s here now, and it’s everywhere you look.

Unlock the blue sky!
Let it highlight the colors
below the vastness

Urged on by the breeze
dead leaves scatter and scurry
down shadowy paths

Sun-glazed still waters
dressed-up in fancy colors
all ready for show

  1. So many beautiful autumn photos and colours – I very much enjoyed all of them. The changing leaves are undoubtedly one of the most striking aspects of autumn. Trees adorned with vibrant colours create a breathtaking sight, turning ordinary landscapes into captivating paintings. Thanks for sharing, and have a good day 🙂 Aiva xx

  2. Thanks for sharing! Autumn is coming to an end here. There are still some colorful leaves, but many have hit the ground after two days of wind, then rain. I love the smell of autumn…the leaves, the ground, the air…on par with the smell of spring.

  3. The several weeks of falling leaves down here in the South used to bother me, as if a cleanup chore I could never keep up with. Now I let them lie on the ground longer, and somehow find peace in their gradual accumulation. Eventually I’ll mulch them up, effectively returning them to the soil from where they were born. But there’s no hurry, really. After all, winter comes next.

    • My husband has finally adopted your theory of letting dead leaves lie for a bit… which makes perfect sense to me. I don’t mind Winter once it gets here, but I’m in no hurry for it. Take care!

      • Yes there is 🙂 In the northern parts of my country, where there is a winter, the leaves change colour. We live in South India, not far from the Arabian sea. The weather conditions are different here.
