Evil can hide where angels live
but surely the devil thinks twice
before lurking too long in the valley of kindness
for fear of finding paradise.

So grant me the soul of an earthly angel
and please let me be not alone.
We’ll be a hindrance in hatred’s path
until given our wings to fly home.

May peace surround us and love gratify us
and may our hearts always be light.
Drench our world in a colorful palette
for angels don’t always wear white.
“Drench our world in a colorful palette, for angels don’t always wear white”. Thank you for writing that Linda.

Hi Grammy,
I liked the theme of your poem. Angels don’t always wear white and devils don’t always wear red (or black). Your theme is don’t judge people by their appearances. Too true.
I met you at Suzie’s blog party. Maybe you can check out my blog if you need any blogging tips. That’s what I write about.
