When the artwork is gone from the refrigerator door
When drips and crumbs don’t adorn the kitchen floor
When little hands don’t make a mess anymore
…then where have the children gone?

grown up to marry and have children of their own so Grammas can again have artwork on the refrigerator, crumbs on the floor, and little hands to make a mess.. and that is a true blessing.

I love your post and can truly relate. I now have one grandchild in college and the other a senior in HS but I still keep their pictures up on the “fridge. I occasionally change the photos and change around the artwork. Whenever they come over they’ll go right to “the “fridge” to check out the “new” additions and that ends up in a lot memories and good feelings….some laughs too! Thank you for your great post!

You just hand the crayon or the marker over to the next generation and it starts all over again. Or you have a child that always makes artwork and then there is never enough refrigerator door space
