There is a magic to the landscape of Scotland. The shadows seem to snuggle in the hills, the sun knows just where to shine, and colors tend to find their most unique shade of perfection. Like Walt Whitman said ~ “I swear to you, there are divine things more beautiful than words can tell”. To me, Scotland is one of those divine things – indescribable!
Magic always happens when the sun kisses the sea!

Lovely Lugano, Switzerland is perfectly positioned on the edge of a crystal-clear alpine lake with the Swiss Alps in its backyard. Beautiful photos in this picturesque town are easy to come by. One of my favorites, however, is not of the lake or the mountains, but of the orchids on display at an outdoor flower market in the center of town. They simply couldn’t be more exquisite!
I’m glad I don’t live in the mountains ~
I might take their beauty for granted.
What a shame that would be!

A fjord is a long, narrow inlet with steep sides or cliffs, created by glacial erosion. This pristine coastal fjord extends to a vanishing point, but what beauty lies beyond? In Alaska, merely seek and ye shall find!

Don’t you just love it when God paints the sky?
